So yesterday was quite possibly the best day ever. I was chosen to go to a Microsoft (M$) TECHed conference in Orlando. It’s June 9th through the 14th. W000T! There hasn’t been travel money where I work in about 6 years, so it was a surprise to everyone when the e-mails went out that we were chosen to do this. It’s a lottery system for the grant money, I.T. is usually not in the lottery. I am trying to convince Tense to come with me and make this our 12th anniversary trip without the littleone. I’m a little torn because I do not think we will have time to get by Disney, but if we do, I’d love to have the littleone with us. Then again, Tense and I couldn’t celebrate our lust (yes, it’s still lust) for each other with her there. Frankly, we have had trouble connecting for the last few months. Life just gets in the way. So, I’m very torn with planning this trip. I will hit a beach for one day! I’d also like to meet a few bloggers that are in the area. So if there are any of you out there that want to meet the geek and Tense, please hit me up. I’m all about networking… (pun intended).
