I WENT TO ORLANDO! and didnt drink the water.

Alright, so I haven’t blogged about the trip, mainly because Tense did. It’s very difficult to write about schtuff that happens around here without writing the same thing Tense writes. (I hope you followed that; I think I got lost on that sharp left turn there in the middle). Anyway, the drive to Orlando from here wasn’t all that bad. It only took us around 11 hrs to make the trip. I would drive it again, really. I loved the Disney hotel we stayed in. It had these cool horse and buggy lanes with gardens and benches all made up to look like the garden district in New Orleans. We tried to get out in the twilight to have a couple of cocktails and enjoy people-watching from the benches. If that is your style of relaxing, I highly recommend the Port Orleans Hotel at Disney World. I finally got to try Yuengling beer; around my backwards part of Rednecksville, we can’t get this particular beer. I loved it. I tried a couple of micros from Florida as well that were really good. I will have to write our bottling group and see if we can expand our lineup around here. Although around here, it’s backward legislation that stops most things, not the bottling group. I would be more than interested to do some beer swapping with people if anyone is interested . We only have one microbrewery in MS, but it’s a really good one.
